Physical Testing standards

We use a combination of physical tests to help identify capabilities that may translate to strong potential across Bobsleigh and Skeleton. Both sports require different physical abilities and skills which we benchmark against each development stage of each sport.

We assess the characteristics of every athlete, their stage of their development, and their future potential on a world and Olympic stage.

Below are the physical standard benchmarks we use to understanding if your sporting background has provided you with the physical demands needed to quickly progress through Bobsleigh and Skeleton.
